SINCERUS GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, INC. PROMOTES GLEN SCHUHMACHER TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
ARLINGTON, VA. – Sincerus Global Solutions Inc. announced the promotion of Glen Schuhmacher to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as Tony Smeraglinolo transitions to Sincerus’ Executive Chairman. “This has always been our plan from the beginning” explained Smeraglinolo. “Having worked with Glen for 13 years, it has been quite a journey for us, both professionally and personally. He is an exceptional colleague and friend. Sincerus is born of a proud lineage – from recruitment to placing personnel in the field, our systematic approach is consistent in a time when adapting to customer’s evolving needs, building coalitions, and remaining agile in challenging environments – is the value creation that separates us from other organizations. Schuhmacher will take Sincerus’ mission to the next level.” “Having Tony remain active with Sincerus as Executive Chairman allows us to focus on strategic initiatives propelling growth,” Schuhmacher responded.
Schuhmacher brings more than 30 years of diverse experience in the federal service industry ranging from technical and professional services to security sector reform and capacity building. Building upon a cross-functional career in finance, business development and program management, Schuhmacher emerged as a key leader of multi-disciplinary initiatives generating new multi-million-dollar programs spanning worldwide. Prior to co-founding Sincerus with Smeraglinolo, Schuhmacher served as Vice President of Justice and Overseas Programs at SAIC – managing a portfolio of contracts valued at more than $1.0 billion. He also previously held senior-level positions at Engility Corporation and DynCorp International.
“Sincerus focuses on delivering measurable results by intensely supporting or program execution teams, carefully crafting each service or program first and foremost to the local context and the customer’s objectives,” stressed Schuhmacher. “This is something that we [Tony and I] knew would generate measurable and sustainable impact. Sincerus recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and we have seen how our services are making a global difference. In the Balkans, we are working with the U.S. Government to build the capacity of partner nations’ security institutions – which ultimately addresses shared threats – making the world a safer place. While our contributions are well-noted, it is Sincerus’ dedicated field-based personnel that particularly receives continual recognition.”
With Schuhmacher taking more oversight of day-to-day operations, the value creation that sets Sincerus apart will continue to drive the organization’s strategy. “From inception to strategy to execution, Tony has been a driving force behind Sincerus. Our shared vision has created a unique opportunity. We are providing services that positively impacts our customers’ goals and objectives through the delivery of international security assistance and delivering security sector reform globally - which is reflected in our organizational growth throughout the past twelve months.”
