Jack in Kuwait circa 2003 ARLINGTON, VA. — Sincerus mourns the loss of beloved colleague, Jack Strickland. "Jack was one of a kind. The role he played in forming Sincerus can't be put into words. But beyond work, Jack was a close friend and confidant," President and CEO Glen Schuhmacher stated. "From his passion to selfless leadership, he remains an inspiration to our staff.

Jack started his career as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer—serving in the Republic of Korea and then with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, K.Y. During his time at Fort Campbell, he proudly served in the Second Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment "Rakkasans" and the 311th Military Intelligence Battalion. His time with the Screaming Eagles included service in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In the Army, Jack earned Airborne, Ranger, and Air Assault qualifications as well as his Expert and Combat Infantryman Badges. After his Army service, Jack joined MPRI, Ltd and continued his service to his country.

Jack cemented his reputation through successfully leading complex and important programs supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of State—accomplishing difficult tasks under challenging conditions in places such as Croatia, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and across Africa. Through it all, Jack set the example and standard for training, mentoring, and advising U.S. partners and allies. Jack's long career, passion, dedication, and creativity played a critical role in the legacy companies including L3, Engility, and SAIC that contributed to what Sincerus is today.
