Briefing NATO on Lessons Learned from Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

On July 21, Sincerus GDRP Senior Defense Transformation Advisor Larry Swift in North Macedonia briefed Ambassadors from NATO countries in Skopje on his study of lessons learned from the Russian Armed Forces' actions in Ukraine. The purpose of the study was to inform the Republic of North Macedonia's Armed Forces' NATO transformation. As a result, the U.S. Department of State is working with North Macedonia's Ministry of Defense to apply Russia's costly lessons learned from its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine to inform their #WeAreNATO transformation effort.
