Sincerus Global Solutions Launches as New Professional Services Company Serving the U.S. Federal Government

Sincerus Global Solutions Inc. acquires SAIC’s international development services portfolio
ARLINGTON, Va. (VA). (July 6, 2020) – Sincerus Global Solutions Inc., led by Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Tony Smeraglinolo and President and Chief Operating Officer Glen Schumacher, announced the acquisition of the international development services portfolio from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
Smeraglinolo, previously president and CEO of Engility, and Schuhmacher, previously vice president for the SAIC international development services business unit, envision Sincerus – which derives its name from the Latin for honest, pure and sincere – as the preeminent provider of expeditionary mission support, security sector development, training, advising, and logistics support.
“Our intense focus on the mission will allow Sincerus to deliver enhanced capabilities and innovation that support U.S. global stability objectives through security sector reform and civilian security programs,” Smeraglinolo said.
While Sincerus is a new company, its leadership brings more than 25 years of legacy business expertise and a team of experienced service providers. “Given that the current management team will be joining, we believe the transition will be seamless to our customers, our employees and our partners,” Schuhmacher said.
The international development services portfolio Sincerus acquired from SAIC includes peacekeeping and law enforcement training, “rule of law” consulting, and related implementation services for the State Department and the Department of Justice. Effective immediately, approximately 50 full-time employees and several hundred part-time employees and contractors serving programs operating in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East have transitioned to Sincerus.
